    Hello There,

Making the final status customizable may add complexity. However, if there is an acceptable term for the instance when a criminal search is unable to be completed, it would increase the likelihood of us processing this change.

For criminal searches, we are looking into the ability to add another option. So, for criminal search types, the options may be:

    Complete - No Record
    Complete - Record
    Court Unavailable

Would this work? Please comment and vote. We want to know!

Fairly often the identifiers are close but not an exact match.  Maybe the DOB is off by one day.  In this case a result like "Complete - Possible Record" might be helpful

Yes we would love a "Court Unavailable" option.

"Court Unavailable" as an option (Yes please) and make sure the verbiage on the completed report reflects that the research was not completed. (report summary must say "Court Unavailable", search should automatically be flagged, "No record found" must be replaced on the report with "Court unavailable" as well. Let's paint a completely accurate picture for our clients.

Yes, this would be a viable option.  Especially, given today's conditions at the various courts.

I would request a more catch-all option. Something like 'Unable to Complete Search' The CRA would be able to add an explanation

I agree with replacing No Reportable Records Found or No Records Reported instead of No Record. It is a more accurate statement for a CRA's purposes.

I agree with Suzanne, according to the PBSA conference with Pam. Stating "No records" needs to stop, because it technically can be a lie or not meeting max accuracy possible. The statement alone "No records" is not a complete statement.

They should be something like:    No Reportable Records Found/located/available.

Thank you for the feedback everyone. This is great!

Not to get us off topic, but it sounds like the current 'Complete - No Records' needs consideration to be changed to 'Complete - No Records Found'.

Suzanne and Pierre, is my understanding correct on that?

No, as there may have been records found, but not ultimately reported.

No Reportable Records Found, is my choice. Second choice is No Records Reported

Correct the wording needs to convey that even though there may be records they are not reportable depending on laws, requirements and other compliance issues.

No records found indicates that nothing was located which can be a lie or not accurate.

Suzanne, I upvoted your correction of my understanding. I will look into this separately from the main purpose to this feature request to add a third option to report the instance of a criminal search being unable to be completed.

    Hi everyone,

I was also at the conference and Pam had said "No Reportable Records Found" for that option.

I also vote on "Not Performed" for verifications.

    Good morning partners,

We would like to collect more feedback and clarification from you all on this topic. Can you please confirm by either up-voting this comment, or adding additional comments, the following language options we have received so far? I have included some mock-ups below so we can get a visual on exactly what you're looking for!

    Criminal Search Types:

    1. Add an "Unable to Complete Search" option

    2. Change "Complete - No Record" to "No Reportable Records Found"

    3. No change to Complete - Records.

    Verification Search Types:

    1. Add an "Unable to Complete Search" option

Please let us know your thoughts! Thank you all for your partnership.

When selecting to close with "Unable to Complete Search" there should be a text box available to include an explanation.

    @...

For criminal selections having the "Unable to Complete Search" and "No reportable Records Found" would work, along with the "Complete - Records Found"

Below: Would there be an additional button with "Unable to Complete - Not Verified" this would be ideal. Then in the comment box input reason? Same options for Educations and References would be great too.

Thank you both for your input! We have made note of this text box for the potential "Unable to Complete Search" results on both Criminal and Verification search types. We mainly wanted to start by confirming everyone is in agreement on the specified language. Much appreciated!

Is there an ETA or Ticket number we could track this on? We would definitely like this enhancement. Thanks!

Hi Katrina Adams! You can find a link to our native roadmap in this article (https://deverus.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12164856524955-Product-Roadmap), where this project is currently in the Considering category. There is currently no ETA; however, we will be sure to update all partners on this one as it has been highly requested.

    Thank you!

Any updates on the road map decision for this please? Also note that with more and more states enacting "Clean Slate" rules like MI and CT and others...We need a way to indicate that in report result wording more than ever.

Good morning! If you take a look at the product roadmap (link provided in this article: https://deverus.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12164856524955-Product-Roadmap), you will see the 'Final Result Wording' item is now at the top of the list under Considering. We are continuing the investigation into the best way to achieve this goal for both the immediate and future needs. There is no ETA at this time, but we will continue to keep the roadmap board up-to-date as this project progresses.

My vote based on our legal counsel's feedback and details from Pam Devata would be:
    Complete - No Reportable Records
    Complete - Review
    Court Unavailable

We have had issues with the word "records" in our other platform where clients think it is a final outcome determined by our team. Using the word "review" works for multiple search types, and indicates action is required on their end to look at the investigation.
