Changes to result wording
Hello All,
I just attended the 2022 PBSA conference in Denver CO and learned some new things. One of the items brought to my attention by Pamela Devata during her 1 hour legal review seminar was the "language used" in reports.
Current:
When someone has a clear for Federal, County, Civil, and beyond: The system auto reports it as "No Records Found" or "Complete - No Records".
Current:
When an employment verification is completed that was unable to be verified the system auto responds to it as: Completed - "Not Verified"
Pamela Devata stated that there is more and more litigations occurring over language in a report.
New Feature:
With this being said would it be possible to allow CRAs to make that language modifiable? Would it be possible for the CRAs to change it themselves to whatever language it should be advised by the CRAs legal teams?
The reason this is important is because it is not aligned with the FCRA's requirement of maximum possible accuracy.
Some suggested language is:
No records - No Reportable Records Found
Unable to verify: Unable to complete or Unperformable
Again I understand that notes can be added to explain, however this question was brought up during the presentation and was struck down because it is not the result language.
Thanks,

Hello There,
Making the final status customizable may add complexity. However, if there is an acceptable term for the instance when a criminal search is unable to be completed, it would increase the likelihood of us processing this change.
For criminal searches, we are looking into the ability to add another option. So, for criminal search types, the options may be:
Complete - No Record
Complete - Record
Court Unavailable
Would this work? Please comment and vote. We want to know!Acciones de comentarios -
"Court Unavailable" as an option (Yes please) and make sure the verbiage on the completed report reflects that the research was not completed. (report summary must say "Court Unavailable", search should automatically be flagged, "No record found" must be replaced on the report with "Court unavailable" as well. Let's paint a completely accurate picture for our clients.

I would request a more catch-all option. Something like 'Unable to Complete Search' The CRA would be able to add an explanation
I agree with replacing No Reportable Records Found or No Records Reported instead of No Record. It is a more accurate statement for a CRA's purposes.

I agree with Suzanne, according to the PBSA conference with Pam. Stating "No records" needs to stop, because it technically can be a lie or not meeting max accuracy possible. The statement alone "No records" is not a complete statement.
They should be something like: No Reportable Records Found/located/available.

Good morning partners,
We would like to collect more feedback and clarification from you all on this topic. Can you please confirm by either up-voting this comment, or adding additional comments, the following language options we have received so far? I have included some mock-ups below so we can get a visual on exactly what you're looking for!
Criminal Search Types:
1. Add an "Unable to Complete Search" option
2. Change "Complete - No Record" to "No Reportable Records Found"
3. No change to Complete - Records.

Verification Search Types:
1. Add an "Unable to Complete Search" option

Please let us know your thoughts! Thank you all for your partnership.

For criminal selections having the "Unable to Complete Search" and "No reportable Records Found" would work, along with the "Complete - Records Found"
Below: Would there be an additional button with "Unable to Complete - Not Verified" this would be ideal. Then in the comment box input reason? Same options for Educations and References would be great too.

Thank you both for your input! We have made note of this text box for the potential "Unable to Complete Search" results on both Criminal and Verification search types. We mainly wanted to start by confirming everyone is in agreement on the specified language. Much appreciated!

Hi Katrina Adams! You can find a link to our native roadmap in this article (https://deverus.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12164856524955-Product-Roadmap), where this project is currently in the Considering category. There is currently no ETA; however, we will be sure to update all partners on this one as it has been highly requested.
Thank you!

Good morning! If you take a look at the product roadmap (link provided in this article: https://deverus.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12164856524955-Product-Roadmap), you will see the 'Final Result Wording' item is now at the top of the list under Considering. We are continuing the investigation into the best way to achieve this goal for both the immediate and future needs. There is no ETA at this time, but we will continue to keep the roadmap board up-to-date as this project progresses.

My vote based on our legal counsel's feedback and details from Pam Devata would be:
Complete - No Reportable Records
Complete - Review
Court UnavailableWe have had issues with the word "records" in our other platform where clients think it is a final outcome determined by our team. Using the word "review" works for multiple search types, and indicates action is required on their end to look at the investigation.
