EMPV Do Not Contact improvement
What problem are you trying to solve?
When an Employment Verification (EMPV) search is submitted and 'No" is selected in the 'Do Not Contact' field, a CRA would like to have a manual researcher review the search. There are other ways to verify employment besides contacting the employer. Therefore, the search should not automatically complete as Not Verified. For example, the CRA could use The Work Number integration or request W-2s from the candidate. Ideally, the search needs to route to a manual researcher to be reviewed. This option needs to be configurable by client type and client.
How does this process work today?
When an Employment Verification (EMPV) search is submitted and 'No" is selected in the 'Do Not Contact' field, the search is automatically completed as Not Verified. Some partners have a key enabled as a workaround which routes the searches to QA. However, this causes additional steps in the process. Some clients want the search to automatically complete as not verified and some do not.

Just idea or work around. When a candidate selects "No, do not contact" maybe a selection appears like the Employment Gap system works.
The candidate can then select something like: (examples)
Please contact me for info
I have W-2 or documents
I am still employed and do not want to notify employer
that way the CRA, then it would route to either QA or a secondary researcher to review and respond accordingly.

I love this idea. Christie is correct that there are several other means of doing an employment verification w/out contacting the employer. (The Work Number; Copies of W2's, paystubs etc)
Having a chance to review and then decide is a much better route to take instead of having them just go to complete without any review. We have had clients call and inquire as to why the current employment was not worked as requested.
