QA Flag and Follow-Up Queue

For any search that's currently In Progress, you have two handy features you can use to ensure that search receives attention later.  One is a QA flag, which ensures the search will go to QA even before it gets any results from the researcher.  The other is a more generic flag which does not send the search to QA, but still allows you to search for it later using the report finder.

Here's what the two features look like on an in-progress search (highlighted in yellow below):

The first highlighted option, Follow Up, allows you to later find this search using the Report Finder.  Just check off the option that reads Show only those needing follow-up from the Report Finder, as shown below.

You can combine this flag search with any other factors you wish, but checking to show only searches needing follow-up ensures that only searches with the Follow Up option checked can show up in the results.

The Flag & send to QA option marks this search so that it will go to QA guaranteed, even if it wouldn't normally end up there.  For example, if you don't send County Criminal clears to QA, but you flag a certain County Criminal search for QA, it will end up in QA even if it's cleared.

Locating Flagged Searches

Using the Report Finder, you can quickly locate searches that have been completed and have records, have not been verified, or have been generally flagged during the search process.  This option is called the Report/Search Flag, and it works in conjunction with other searches and filters to allow you to locate searches with records without manually searching for them.

To use this option, access the Report Finder by clicking the Report Management button.  You'll see the option to filter by Report/Search Flag toward the bottom, as shown below.

When Has Flag is selected and a search is run, the results will be filtered down to only those results that are completed with records, are unverified, or were flagged during the search process (not with a QA flag, but just with a generic flag).  You can combine this filter with anything else on the search page, such as limiting by post date, type of search, or client.
